Default Re: Nice documented LS6 Chevelle

Probably not what you're looking for but anyways,

date-coded CRV engine out of another LS6 chevelle

same for the M22

CRW code 4.10 rear is original. Original interior. One repaint in the 70s

I put an ad in the Yuba city/ Thousand Oaks/Marysville papers in 2004 asking for info - guy calls me says he has daoust chevrolet POPs and that mine is in there - $800 bucks US later I get what you see here in the picture. I think it's real, but I'm no POP expert. I have a signed letter from the original owner Jim Johnson saying he ordered it as a 450 horse 454 car. The AM-FM 8 track stereo he ordered in it (which I put back in the car) was a more expensive option than the LS6 and mandatory M22 combined! He still lives in SO Cal. he ordered the car from SIngapore when he was doing his Viet Nam tour of duty, hence the front plate I added.

Car is a spirited driver, I added polyurethane bushings, Gas shocks and 15 X 7 wheel vintiques. Engine did 462HP on the dyno...needs paint but I never will...she has served me well dings and all. A move and a new business is forcing the sale.
