Those are all wild brook trout...and lest you think we 'take too many'...those photos were from 3 different years. The daily limit is 5 fish...if we have 4 guys fishing we may have 16 pushrods [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif[/img] We enjoy a few around the campfire for dinner and take a few home to enjoy or share with friends.

On my trip last weekend I caught 9 fish in about an hour...only kept 2. Many of the lakes/ponds are mono-culture environments [only one fish species present]. These remote waters have a fair number of fish...and rarely see an angler. The wilderness experience is far more important than the fishing for me. I just enjoy being in camp...doing chores...cooking...and just hanging out with a good cigar and a bourbon. There is no place I would rather be!
