I hear ya Diamond..But many customers don't have the luxury of knowing what exact battery cable # or length their car came with originally.You're already ahead of the game in the sense.As you can see in that link I included,it shows many different 1970 Nova applications.If you know your part # already,I'd just give it to em early on and save you & them time & trouble of digging through their inventory and possible call backs too,as happened to a friend of mine.
Those that can't relay a part #,AAW will ask specific questions about the cars details and try to cross reference it in their parts books.
There are anomaly exceptions too,as in my case which is an early built & brief 1970 L-78 Chevelle and my buildsheet calls out for specific 1969 Chevelle cables in box #50 & #51.Not the more common L-34 or LS-5,LS-6.
