Any idea of your vacuum HG reading when this cycle occurs, 'like the standing on concrete'? Could very well be dangerous especially when having to stop quickly, or in traffic after a quick couple of pumps of the binders.
You might be really down on vacuum to help apply the brakes. Careful.
