They're painted,not dyed.
Dye is a different animal altogether that consists of absorption into a material which will not come out if done properly.And if it does,not completely as it will literally stain the fabric forever.
You can scratch a painted material off to reveal it's true undercoat,easier then you can a dyed.

Sem still works great, always thought it was a dye. But as you say, Dyeing them will make them even better. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]
Rick which Black Dye would you recommend in using?
