Re: clutch/clutch plate 1969 Z28/
I'm running a 10.5" centerforce II in my Chevy II. No slip dead hooking at a 3500 rpm launch (12 second car), really light pedal, and super smooth engagement.
According to Centerforce, some cheap stock replacement pressure plates do not use nodular iron pressure rings (just cast iron). I would not want an $80 clutch behind a high revving 302 with a stock bellhousing.
Likewise, forget about a stock flywheel and go for a RAM billet wheel. No one can see it once it is installed.
