Alllllllrighty.......it's been a busy last few weeks, and I'm happy to say other than a few backordered items (radio knobs, cowl vent knobs, battery tray hold down, and two hood side ornaments....and a few engine bay grommets I still need to size) the truck is DONE!!!! From start to finish, this was a 1yr build. I did 100% of everything except the exhaust. And that included mounting the tires with tubes! Paint, rust repair, stitches to my calf (general purpose solvent makes an excellent sterilizer!), balm application to a nasty weld burn, and of course, tool extraction from.....well...just know it's out! Soooo, now it's onto test driving! I've done a little around the complex and so far no overheating, the 700R4 shifts in all gears, and the brakes work excellent with the big disks up front. This truck turned out 100% how I envisioned it (scary!) and I'm ready to start driving it and have some fun, er, fix stuff that starts breaking. I think my wife is pretty much tired of having LMC catalogs in every bathroom, table, the couch, the fridge, and I think possibly one got in the pantry somehow!!?!? Thanks for following along with my build. I hope it was entertaining for you guys. Since it's not a 426 Yenko DOHC Hemi Side Oiled Cammer, I tried to make it a fun read just to break up the seriousness that some guys make this hobby out to be. After all, in the end, it's all FUN!!!!

Cheers!!!!
