Jason theres early and late hoods....has to do with the latch..and maybe the hinges..since everything GM had weird hinges in 68..i cant remember,,but should be easy to find out..like 68 chevelle hinges are diff than 69 and so is the hood mounting area..

same in 68-9 cutlass..diff hinges etc..

in hawaii..being so hard to get stuff..id try to find the right stuff...67 is 67 early in 68 it changed if i remember right...been a long time since i did anything with firebirds. but i know all the repop 400 hoods call for 68-69 hinges..i dont remember the diffs...
