Thanks Guys! Alrighty, back to progress. Running boards and splash shields mounted up! I'm going with a polished stainless step plate, but I'm not sure where to install it on the running board. I figure I'd ask everyone in my little shop complex to help out. I'll let them all enter the truck and see where the majority step on the running board to enter the vehicle. Now, taking into account who's bias to what lead (do they step first with the right foot, or the left?? ), the demographics of the people in the shop (Those Dodge guys don't seem right..so not sure how reliable there data may be. And then there's the Buick people.... ), and of course, the Earth's rotation with the Corrioulous effect thrown in for good measure, that should give me a good idea as to where the step plate should be. Or, I'll just see where all the scratches wind up and put it there so I don't have to paint the running board again!

You can also see that the front bumper filler panel and running board splash guards have been wetsanded and I was just getting ready to pick up the buffer. There was more trash in those things than the public landfill!!! But, once down to 3000 grit, it's all out and smoooooottthhh! Also, parking brake is installed, cables routed, and everything hooked up. I also trimmed up the floor mat. I need to still install the sill plates and floor mat extensions, and also, I'll be adding some carpeted floor mats with stays so they don't slide around too much. I'm pretty certain they never came with them, or if they did they were probably a .70 cent option, but I think it'll finish off the floor nicely!

Cheers
