Default Re: 68 COPO Dick Harrell Nova Badging

While I can't answer your question on the differences of the metal tags on both the hood and console of the COPO Nova's DHPC tweaked in various ways, I have seen several of the longer & slimmer metal tags on the hood and consoles. From what I have seen, both the hood and console tags match on each either way. Still having the original metal matching tags off the hood & console of my car, they were shorter & wider? Ran on to a 68 red Camaro in Topeka, KS at a Super Chevy Show a few years back that had the long slim badges. There were some differences in the engine markings with the Dick Harrell markings, also. My original stickers were all foil, while some were metal according to a discussion I had with Dave Libby several years back. In the November 1968 issue of PHR, it shows the metal engine compartment tags that was used on some Nova's. Dave explained too me, the metal tags would turn loose from the engine heat, therefore the best solution was the foil tags like those on my car, of which I have the originals.
