1984 graduate of GMI here (and former "Firebirds Car Club" president). My diploma has "General Motors Institute" on one side and "GMI Engineering and Management Institute" on the other.
Mike Scarlatelli is still working, over in the pre-production shops. Marra Bara graduated in our class (although I don't remember her from that time).
Dad worked at "Chevy in the Hole" for 32 years.
