This one is rh threads. I need one with left hand threads, but am pretty darn sure there isn't one available.
Trying to match it up to a truck or a tractor will not work because it is odd sized. No US made, German made, Japanese made vehicle will have something with this thread. OK, you made me say it, I bought a friggin British car... complete with Lucas electrical, right hand drive and four speed... on the column. I admit it. I am a tard. Getting ready to replace the water pump. Before you can remove the WP, you have to remove the radiator. Before you can remove the radiator, you have to remove the radiator surround (grill etc.) Before you can remove radiator surround, you must remove the bonnet (a hood to most people) and the front bumper. Bonnet removal looks like a 4 person job, so we need to wait until the kids come over. Good news is, after all that stuff is out of the way, there are only four bolts holding the water pump in place, so that should be a piece of cake, right?

Oh yeah, and her is a pic of the link end. The stud is 5/8 inch and the threaded rod is 3/4.

So... does anyone rebuild tie rods?
