Popular Hot Rodding magazine July 1969 page 23 #5 ZL1 from stock at Fred Gibb Chev…no air cleaner decal. Same photo in Hot Rod June 1998 page 49.

Super Stock magazine July 1969 page 26 Yenko Camaro showing ‘427’ decal [seal partially obscures lid].

Super Stock magazine August 1969 page 38 Yenko Chevelle pulled from dealer stock, no air cleaner decals.

Don't forget the link to the photos of the then-new automatic COPO, no decals.

Rational people will conclude not every car built received air cleaner decals.
