Thanks Jason, but in my defense, I personally set a number that I feel comfortable with. Just like I do with eBay, I have a max bid and I stick too it. That's just me. I also told Jason I had just missed out on a mint C427X that the first 2 times the seller went to sell it, he didn't get one offer and finally took $125.00. So I asked for pictures and price. I did get an email from him with the price and it didn't say "firm" or anything to warrant me not asking if that's his bottom line. It's was a bit above my "comfy zone" but maybe this was a better example that maybe I could add to my collection of vintage intakes. THEN once I received the pictures, it didn't suit my bill. Sorry
To me, at $200 it's just a bit much FOR ME. I "personally" do not think this intake is worth it TO ME. Others may think it's a deal or fine, but when I have to add shipping and cost PLUS the exchange to US funds, then the boarder, this could run close to $400.00. This is not Jason fault or worry, it's mine. I just didn't think this warranted the expenditure to me.
As I said to Jason. I have 10 vintage intakes, possibly 11 this weekend. I pay what I'M comfortable with. I've paid more then what some things are worth to others, and I've paid less. They are around this area anywhere from 100-300 I'm told. One shop says he says at least a couple a year and he wants $200 for a good one. So I can wait.
