US 131 Dragway in Martin MI is the closest big time track so I go there occasionally. Here are a few pictures from there over the last few years.

T. Strefling's 55 Bel Air sedan had a 580 and ran high 8's. This is one of the meanest sounding drag cars around.

The Heikus' 71 Z/28 had an Alan Johnson built 526 and ran high 6's. This was one bad machine.

S. Morris' 93 Caprice wagon has a 540 with a ProCharger and runs high 7's on drag radials.

Clean 67 Camaro SS had a pump gas 496 and ran low 10's.

Another clean 67 Camaro RS that had a big block on NOS and ran mid 8's.

C. Comella's LO23 68 Hemi S/S Dart doing a little T&T ran mid 8's.

Nice 73 Duster with a 412 stroker ran mid 9's.

P. Costa's 09 Stratus had a 500ci Hemi Pro Stock engine backed by an automatic. I never saw him make a full pass, but it should run in the high 6's or low 7's.

C. Caswell's 62 Impala with a 461 ran 9.70's.

C. Manso's cool 01 Corvette with a 502 ran 9.20's.

C. VanWerton's sleeper 67 Chevy II had a blue bench seat interior with a column shifted Powerglide and was powered by a naturally aspirated 420 small block. This didn't look like a mid 10 second car.

R. Hoke's 68 Chevy II is a 9 second street and strip car and Drag Week regular.

G. Borgman's 72 Nova is powered by a 548 and runs 8.40's.

J. Jensen's 65 Malibu SS with a 406 ran 9.40's.

Fast 67 Camaro RS with a hat injected big block ran high 7's.

This 12 COPO Camaro with a manually shifted 427 ran 9.80's.
