If it has a dealer-installed 427, then what makes it COPO?
At least for the popular term, a COPO involves a non-regular-production engine installed by the factory.
Perhaps you shouldn't be distracted by the COPO term and instead try to find documentation on its pedigree, because I suspect a Nova that came from a hallowed Chevy dealership documented to have received a 427 could be interesting to Chevy fans.
I'm sure someone here who knows more about these cars can correct me if this doesn't sound right.
