Default Re: '70 Chevelle Front Rotors

Hey Guys great info.
I just checked my Build sheets from 1970 Chevelles and I have a few "AS" coded in box #12 (Steering Knuckle) that are dated from April.
The latest being my own former LS6 car that had a scheduled date of April 23, the next date I found is April 16 and so on.

Some of you mentioned January as the change over date but there are many that are in February March and April.
Maybe the average date was January/February from most plants before switching over to the one piece but there are many going into cars as late as April especially the Atlanta Plant were I have many with "AS" but they did indeed switch over to the 2 piece rotors as of May as all my May build sheets have "DT" for the Atlanta Plant, on average the other plants are earlier.

My Ls6 Built on April 23 1970 did have the original 2 piece rotors with the correct backing plates of 5463496 & 5463497
