Just got this PM from a member here.
There I go assuming '68and'69 plates to be the same.
Didn't mean to confuse anyone.
The info and the people are what make this site what it is.

The radio delete plate you have appears to be for a '69 Chevelle. The shape is slightly different for a '68 Chevelle dash. The easiest way to tell the difference between the two is to look at the back side of the plate. If it is molded in black plastic - it is '69 Chevelle. If it is molded in an off white/cream color then the front is painted black with some overspray covering the back.
