It is your car & you are free to do anything to it you wish,but because you asked us for opinions,I have to agree with SC69Sam and others & wouldn't have done what you did.
Yes you kept all the parts and it can be put back as it was when you bought it,but there are other cars you could've chosen better to do this on,not the Roof Deuce.
The Roof Deuce was a special restored Day 2 car that was unique in it's own right & with widely known personal history.None of what you've done to it relates to it's history.
Some might call what you did sacrilege,while others might applaud.
I respectively think it's now a day too much car.
