----Its funny, the only 409 car in my neighborhood back in the era was a maroon/black gut 340 horse 4spd convert. It ran pretty good but he regularly got stomped by his buddies 63 Biscayne with a transplanted 327/365 Vette motor. I was 17 or so at the time......Bill S
