Cars on the list...ended up finding out it's apparently 1 of about 140 documented true yenkos in existence anymore...the car is truly my dream car as I am a camaro enthusiast and lifelong Chevrolet fanatic...I'll fill you guys in with the rest of information as I receive it...in the meantime who wants to buy my TBSS? lol </div></div>
If the owner was a close friend with someone that would step up and pay $201,000 for the car, then he surely wouldnt have given anyone else an option for under $100,000. This doesn't add up... I'm tuning out of this thread. Thanks for the tall tale. </div></div>
And this would be the reason I've been a "read only" member for the past few months. Every single time someone like myself (a novice or less knowledgeable entity) comes on here to ask a question, share an experience, gather information, or even simply relate a story and request your thoughts, you folks rip them a new one. It's disheartening really when the experts in the field are unapproachable. You folks have been chasing these dreams for decades in most cases, and most of you have fulfilled those dreams. But, are you trying to tell us that during those decades, your heart has never "skipped a beat" at the mention of "a Chevy in a barn," a "Yenko in a field," a "guy down the street says...," "my uncle told me..." You're full of some very choice BS if your answer is no. How about giving the novices a little break? Even if it turns out to be bad information in the end, how exactly does that hurt you? Are you trying to tell me that these stories can't happen anymore? How about I get you guys all riled up again? I have SEEN a Black '69 Yenko Camaro from the street that purportedly has never been altered and has been inside that garage since '71, according to the owners "friend." Bending over now.............
