Default Re: Prototype Big Block Chevy Intake Manifold

I was trying to figure out what it started out as. With the January date I though it could be a 963. Then I noticed the choke tower on the passenger side so it couldn't be a 963. I thought it could be an 069 but the date is way too early for any production 069 as well. It may have been a prototype 069 manifold that was then re-machined and was assigned a new engineering part number. Who knows. Just think if GM used the Quadrajet for their high performance solid lifter engines instead of the Holley. Pontiac, Olds, and Buick used the Qjet for their high performance engines so Chevrolet might have been thinking of going with that route.
