That is what I was told on a 1967 years ago. I had it checked three different times by locals with no records found. Had the US DOJ in a FOIA tell me there were "no records". Later we found a person higher up within the NCIB that did a hand search of the microfiche and the record was recovered. I am not saying they have them all (there may be gaps) but they likely have most of them. </div></div>
I was told that cars that started its life as race cars were not insured and did not end up in the NICB records.
