Nos GM assembly line correct small block engine oil pan 3961399 fits all small block V8 engines in 69 for passenger car , Camaro, Chevelle, Nova except 302 engine as per my Oct.69 Parts book listing. This pan has a shipping date of 4-70 on the dealer shipping label and as with many early engine parts it's painted orange @ the factory which makes for a great reference for factory color and gloss level matching which is the main reason I bought it. There has been debate over the years over the level of gloss that was applied to these engines at the factory. This pan pretty much shows that at least in 69 they were a fairly glossy finish not a semi gloss as perceived by some judges. This is a great reference piece for any serious restorer who has to have the details right.
