Default James Kryta's 1972 442 W-30

I thought everyone might like to check out these videos of James Kryta’s 1972 W-30. It is really a cool color. I am not familiar with this burnt orange color. It looks similar to Rally Red, but the restorer said it has a fine metal flake. I am not sure what the code is but what a cool color.

I had a chance to talk with James at the last MCACN show. He is a very nice guy, and truly knowledgeable about Oldsmobiles. We talked a lot about Oldsmobile engineering and their development of all the various exotic Olds high performance engines, transmissions etc… for a planned GM racing program. He said that he still has a lot of Oldsmobile experimental hardware that he acquired from a retired engineer. He said he plans to do some cool Olds projects in the future.

There is also a nice profile on the Kryta brothers 1970 442 W-30 4spd convertible in the current issue of Muscle Car Review. It is just an incredible car with an interesting history. It is definitely worth checking out.
