Default Re: Went for the day two look

That's easy. Lay down some rubber.

X2 on modern rubber for driving around. I have Firestone Sports Car 200s on the restored YH wheels that can be swapped back on in 30 min if I want that look. My car is already brutal to drive with fast ratio (fast ratio my a$$... but that's what GM called it) MANUAL steering. The bias ply tires just make it feel like I am driving on marbles.

My car came with manual steering. Original box was rebuilt for resto. I do have a real Z/28 power steering pump and pulley. Also have a very nice super quick box that I removed from a WS6 TA years ago complete with custom made hoses. I had that box on the car in the 90's and may put it back on. Hopefully it will clear my current headers.
