It sounds like decking/or head milling would be fine,and even required because they allow for an increase in compression over stock. There is no mention of the valve job or back cut,so I wouldnt see a problem there. A machine cut into the bowl and chamber would be hard to prove once the area was blasted over. It says no stroker cranks or reducing rod journal sizes. I am guessing that they allow normal maching for wear to some level of undersize. I dont see a +/- spec for stroke,so you might be able to get and extra cube or two by letting the crank shop be off a few thou when indexing the crank. It allows for a good ring package and doesnt mention about tension,but a gapless ring is technically 2 piece so you would need to check on that. It says the cam must measure within 1% of stock duration,but they dont mention if it is the cam itself,the lobes themselves or how they are positioned in relation to the crank. Each lobe could be to spec but you can change the centerlines and seperation angle to gain a lot.

They mention tire treatment. It would be hard to police once tires start doing big burnouts(are burnouts allowed?) tires typically harden up after a few runs and would need treatment to bring them back to stock hardness. Even if burnouts werent allowed,cars that spun the tires for long distances off the starting line would have the same effect.

Is there a minimum tire inflation for this class? I could cheat like heck there. I would have the sides of the rear tire tread ground down leaving more depth in the center. This would allow the tire to acheave a full footprint at lower pressure where a non modified tire would start running on the edges. Basically it isnt hard to do,you mount a set of tires on the rims,and inflate them to about 7 or 8 psi and do a few long low speed burnouts,and it will take the edges off them,and they will then run with full contact with 13-15 psi and have a longer contact patch too. You would need to glue the heck out of the tire to the rim to do this without rim screws though. of course I would run about 15psi over the max pressure in the front.
