If someone is bidding on the car in person, chances are pretty high they are really interested in buying it. When you just list it in the classifieds of a few sites, you will be bombarded with all the picture collectors, low-ballers, dealers looking to make a buck, document collectors, guys that want to trade junk for it, guys that call you a million times to ask stupid questions, guys that have no intention whatsoever of spending a dime, guys that get mad when you won't consider their offer of half your price, guys that "have to check with momma", and the list goes on and on. I speak from experience, as well as many here can.
