Default 1974 Super Duty Trans Am

Hi all,
I just joined the forum today! My current project is a 74 SDTA. I found this on ebay over the winter and had been looking for a second generation project. It is reasonably original except for the intake and exhaust manifolds and carb. A bit over 20k miles and almost no rust that I can find other than a little surface. Floors and truck are solid! The car spent the first part of its life on the drag strip in Michigan. I like the history but worry about the nitrous oxide system that was installed. I plan a full rotisserie restoration at CW Restorations in Mason Ohio. Winston is a Pontiac specialist and just finished another 74 SD that is spectacular! I'm hoping for just a little better. We've made very little progress so far on the car. Both of us have been overloaded with projects. I did manage to get front sheet metal pulled but still haven't found time to get the engine out and find out status of the block. Here are a few pics. I hope this summer to find time to work on this one. Maybe after the POCI show this July. -Jim

Old days. I supervised one of the production lines that made this type of condenser at the Harrison Div. as a GM Institute engineering student. This one was made about 10 years before I worked that line.
