Default Re: WTB-1969 Chevy Impala 2 door

My wife & I owned a 69 Impala convertible for 18 yrs, and I did a 3 year frame-off restoration on it (1991-94), so I tend to pay attention to them. Nice ones do pop up from time to time, so if you're not in a hurry, you will find one....the bonus is, they're not wildly popular, so you can buy one pretty reasonably.

Several months ago there was a guy in the Pittsburgh area who tried a number of times to sell a LeMans blue convertible on eBay....one owner, documented to the nines, very low mileage, unrestored, 350 automatic. Wanted around $15K for it. Last I saw, I think it ended up at Old Forge Motors in the Philly area, but I don't see it on their website now. That would have been a real dandy for your father.
