Default Re: Space Saver Tire Option - early 69 camaro

According to Super Chevy Mag this was a rare option in 1969. At a cost of only $19 back then. Only 2,228 Camaros out of 243,085 Camaros produced that year had this RPO N65 option. Look on page 407 of your 1969 Camaro Factory Assembly Instruction Manual. It was basically a standard sized rim with E78x14 blackwall. It was also available in a E78x14 whitewall---this one was just $15. This option included a GM inflator canister of compressed air with a proper hold-down (retainer)for mounting inside your trunk.

...and no this option did not come with space saver Suzie! Hope this info helps.
