Default Found my 69 Yenko, 649313

Back in 1983 I sold a yellow 69 Yenko Camaro,649313. I have been trying to find out what happened to it, hoping the guy I sold it to still had it and would sell it back to me. Just dreaming, I sold it for $9000 for home down payment. In a recent post I see it sold at Russo & Steele for approx. $230K. I was looking thru some old photo boxes and came across some pictures I thought I’d share. I am embarrassed to show the side stripe pictures, that is all my budget and artistic talent could do at time. If I remember the stripes were available but very very expensive.
The car did not have a hood stripe, side stripes, or headrest markings when I bought it. It did have one Yenko emblem on the back that I & Barry Hampton sent to Japan to be reproduced. I put the repro emblems on the fenders and I believe the fender holes were drilled already. It didn't have any 427 emblems while I had it. It was an all original drive train car & I think the interior was all original also. I bought it from a struggling student that had pulled the 427 and installed a 327 so he could afford to drive it. Today I see it didn't have the curved neck radiator but overall it was fairly original under the hood. I am pretty sure it had a 140 mph speedo and I installed a factory 4 speaker AM-FM.
Here are the pictures I found and I have some other Yenko pictures I’ll post also.George.
