Dad went out and got another bus the next day. Continued to drive VW buses until mid 80's when he switched to Chrysler mini vans, still driving one today.

it was the first day of school and my sisters had missed the bus, legend has it my mother was trying to catch the bus, pass the bus or just rattle his cage and get him loose.
