Re: Looking previous owners of my 69 Yenko Camaro
John,
It went really well. Contacted Barry Hodges with the number that you gave me. Thanks again. Called Barry that afternoon, he said that D.A. Hodges Jr., was indeed his brother and that he lived in Martinsville, Va. He gave me his number, so I called him told him who I was and that I had something of his from a long time ago. His response was priceless. " That old Yenko " I like died he was so happy that it was still around. He told me some old stories about the car. He traded in a 396/375 Chevelle SS for it. Kept it for about a year and traded it in to get an LT1 Corvette. Saw the nexted owner of the car at the time of his trade in. But doesn't know anything else about his where abouts. I asked if he had any paper work on the car and he said no. It was all destroyed in a storage shed fire years ago. Oh well. And he was really suprised that he lives only 50 miles from where the car is now being restored. When I go out to get the car I'm going to ask him to come and see it. Thanks again for all your help. On to the nexted owner Linwood or Lenwood Toler.
Thanks again
Rodger
