No solids.

It is a stock '69 Impala 235hp/327 short block (stock, as in the rings and bearings were installed at the GM Flint plant in '69). I've added '217' casting 64cc heads w/ 2.02/1.60 valves for a ~9.4:1 Comp ratio. These were the heads used on the early 90s GMPP 300hp/350 crate engine - the previous version of the current 330hp vortec engine. Cam is a Reed cams 214/218 @ 0.050 grind on a 110 LSA. Just a little lumpy at 800 rpm idle, but pretty mild. ZZ4 Intake, Q-jet, and headers.

It's probably good for a solid 300hp. Not super fast, but a lot of fun with the Muncie in a light Chevy II. I have some plans to improve on that a bit! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif[/img]
