Basically the same way I did them. I used the original holes clamped the weatherstrip in place then drilled the weather strip to match the old holes.
Used stainless tig wire and bent them over using needles nose pliers then crimped them tight using a set of wide mouth vice grips, it worked great. Finally I painted the wire flat black. (the orignals were also painted when I removed them.)
