Rich, you are correct, lots of fake red and black 435s. In fact there were a couple of red/red 435s on ebay recently and both have "issues" I have been around these cars for almost thirty years and I have only seen seven red/red 435s that have their original motors and trim tags. Red with a black interior was much more common than a red interior but even finding one of those without issues is a pretty tough thing to do.
