Re: Fred Couples..!!
Neat story about Fred... 1994-1995 Masters Friday
My brother and I are standing beside the Number 2 tee box, Fred strolls up, pulls his driver from the bag, reaches in his pocket pulls a tee, leans down and pushes into the ground. He proceeds to drops a ball on the tee box, and while chatting with his caddy, taps it around with his driver dink dink dink... the fairway clears and he rolls the ball onto the top of the tee with the driver, sets the club behind the ball, then takes the club and taps the ball and tee into the ground just a bit and without hesitation goes into his back swing and rips the ball straight down the fairway... we were both amazed, I tried with my driver but gave up after an hour or so, maybe a pitching wedge... lol
He made it appear so effortless, I figured anyone could do it.
