Something I have learned over the years is ask the repair guys what they would buy. The guy I have used is very quick to tell which brands to avoid. Consumer reports has it's issues but is worth the price of subscription. Now you guys have me worried about my 3 year old Maytag W&D, that I didn't buy the extended warrentee on.
