Rich, yes that is correct. I unfortunately do not have a photo of any of my completed restorations showing that green mark but it was rather large in most cases. The green paint was applied to the side with all the part numbers (opposite of the welded nut side). Attached is a photo of an original motor mount showning the unique encapsulated nut. This is a car that is currently in my shop for some correcting.

As far as the nut goes, that is what I do. Use a thin nut (not a standard thickness nut) and very discretely tack it to the backside of the passenger side and front side of the drivers side motor mount.
