I was at the Barrett Jackson OC auction a couple of months ago and Super lifts had a display with some lifts for sale. The lifts they had on-site were too big for my garage. So I called Dustin Rose their sales manager up a couple of days later and ordered a special lift to fit my garage and he told me that it be would no problem with the installation because they had 12 other lifts to be installed in southern California. It was supposed to be installed on July 17th but it kept getting delayed for all kinds of reasons. Come to find out there was never going to be a lift to be delivered and installed. From what I understand the company has a history of doing this for years. Thank God I put this on a credit card so I could dispute the charge and I am working on getting the credit back. I am surprised that Barrett Jackson would allow a vendor like this to sell at their auctions. I have to admit I had a false sense of security because they were at their show but I now know better. There are some great postings about some other people’s experiences at the corvette forum. Some of these guys lost a bunch of money and they are not happy.
