Not only do they look more authentic, they age like they should.

When the rest of the car ages and gains the beautiful patina like it should, a resto with painted cast parts looks like a resto with painted cast parts...

IMHO the ultimate compliment would be if someone looks at a car I restored and second guesses as to whether it is a survivor or not.
