Default Re: Clutch options

From what you described, seems like either the clutch linkage may be incorrect/misconfigured or the pressure plate is too strong.

I have a Spec Stage III clutch in a car which takes some getting used to. It is a bit too grippy to pass for OE, but it doesn't chatter. I've been told by others that the next rated clutch level- a Stage III Plus offers smoother engagement with all things being equal. Before you jump onto the next clutch manufacturer's offering, it probably is worth the call into Centerforce. They may offer you a more compatible PP or disc are a lower rate to ensure a happy customer and a positive review on the net. Wouldn't be bad to include a link to this thread either.

I've used Zoom, Hays, Centerforce, Spec and others all with positive experiences. Anytime things were less than ideal, it seemed to have been a mismatched clutch for my expectations or application. I would love to hear how CF tried to help make a happy customer.
