Buick dealer code listings indicate they were a Buick dealer too also Ben Essler's 1995 obit is online so you may have some luck trying to contact family names but note his wife has recently passed away in 2011..

<span style="font-style: italic">Ben Essler was born July 1, 1912 in Padua, Minn. to Frank and Anna (Jung) Essler. He married Catherine &quot;Irene&quot; Mayer June 14, 1933 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Padua. The couple resided near Padua and later at Sedan and Elrosa. Since 1940 they resided in Sauk Centre where Ben was co-owner of Sauk Centre Tire and Recapping and later Thiegs-Essler Motors. He then owned and operated Ben's Auto Lot, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, Sauk Centre,
He is survived by his wife, Catherine &quot;Irene&quot; of Sauk Centre; three daughters, Dorothy Tathwell and husband Dick of Banning, Calif., LaVonne Ratcliff and husband Jack of Ontario, Calif., Cheryl Hanson and husband Mike of Minneapolis; two grandsons, Craig Tathwell of Calif., Kirk Tathwell and wife Charlotte of Calif.; one great-grandson, Bret Tathwell at home in Calif. and one sister, Theresa Nugent of Sauk Centre.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Katherine Rousslang; brothers, John, Peter, Tony, Michael, George, Joseph and Jacob Essler.
Pallbearers were Robert Essler, Barry Walker, Pat Nugent, Tony Felling, Joseph Kleinschmidt and Kenneth Essler.
Honorary crossbearer was Eugene Nugent.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe and Florence Kocher, Vince and Joanie Mackedanz, Don and Verona Ripka, Ed and Helen Jenc, Lawrence and Helen Rousslang, Delores Schmidt, Alvina Bayer, Jack and Rege Sunderman, Alex and Phylis Miller and Lester Kummer.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral Service, Sauk Centre.
