It now makes sense he stopped building it, as he told me he feared detroying this expensive motor under continuous constant load (i.e. boat, but in a car, its a burst load). Never talked alchol or gas though.

Its been sitting this way rebuilt since 89, and he got it way before then out of a 69 camaro drag car north of denver. Looks like its an over the counter block.
