As referred to in another article in this Nova Times, the Roofs were also frustrated with not being able to get factored in stock class (New Bethlehem, PA or "New Bee" Drag Strip - AHRA) as they were told they would have to race in Modified Production (M/P) because "no Nova ever had an Aluminum intake on a 350 cu. in.!"

The NRHA still doesn't recognize the LT1 in a Nova as a legal combo, even though we've helped a couple guys over the last couple of years *attempt* to get them listed in the Class Guide...we have a lot of the original correspondence between Yenko & the NHRA, and it appears the issue fell on deaf ears just as it does now.
