The thing that I'm wondering about is if the Van Nuys plant may have used different spring part numbers than Norwood did, which might explain the difference in the tag color scheme. I'm not clear if the YG spring was unique to Van Nuys because of the extra weight of the smog system that was on Van Nuys-built L78 Camaros.
There aren't many of the Ven Nuys built '67 L78 Camaros around, so the information on the Van Nuys specific stuff is pretty few and far between. </div></div>
I believe your car came equipped with the standard F40 suspension and therefore was built with the YG springs. If it was equipped with the optional F41 it would have the YJ springs. Below is a chart from the assembly manual that substantiates this info.
