Here I am sitting quietly and I get "Poked" with a stick....LOL....
After a year all I can say about the 1 of 1 thread is that this site is probably the best site on the net for that car to get scrutinized.......Bottom line the car was built 5 months after the option was cancelled by GM and the owner swore up and down the 074 heads were original to the engine......as we had shown......GM "Never" made a piston for that bore/head combo....
The dealer swap story makes a lot more sense than the Factory story.........again....In my opinion, the car was given credibility thru the Hemmings article and once that happened the owner was boxed into a corner......... if it's a magazine it must be true......Agian, this site has a collective knowledge base that is the best on the net, IMHO
