Extrapolation isn't perfect, but what other estimating method is there? My '69 BB Pace Car has Canadian documentation showing shoulder belts and chambered exhaust. If I use extrapolation to try to figure out how many Pace Cars had either of these options, it's single digits. It seems, however, that a disproportionate number of Pace Cars had shoulder harnesses, and chambered is not uncommon on Canadian Pacers (maybe GM was trying to use up the discontinued chambered inventory by sending it to Canada?). Extrapolation is a starting point.
