While I have retired and am no longer working on any automotive projects, I do have a few experiences in the Nickey/Bill Thomas Camaro builds - I was the parts manager at Bill Thomas Race Cars during most of the period when they were being assembled.
This Camaro that Bill Hielsher built, apparently with the help of Guy Tipton was NOT a Nickey Camaro when it was built. Please take the time to read an article in "Drag Strip" magazine where it will show you that while this car had a Dick Harrell engine, the car was built in Texas most likely by Guy before he went to work with Mr Harrell.
